Mike Infurna [EH]
From: Clint Harms[charms@secor.com]
Sent: Wednesday, October 01, 2003 10:00
To: Mike Infurna [EH]
Cc: Ed Ralston
Subject: Status Report- Circle K 1205, Lathrop
Mike—The following is the status of work at Circle K 1205,
1. Downgradient well MW-16 was developed and sampled. The groundwater sample reported MtBE, TPHg
(flagged as not matching the standard), and ethanol at concentrations of 140 ppb, 52 ppb, and 68 ppb,
respectively. SECOR proposes to submit a work plan addendum to perform additional
downgradient/crossgradient assessment prior to submission of an SCM for the site.
2. On September 30, 2003, SECOR inspected the irrigation well at Lathrop Middle School and there is a
sampling port. The maintenance supervisor indicated that the well is currently pumping from 7 pm to 5
am. SECOR is scheduled to sample the well on Tuesday, October 7th at 4:45-5 am with the maintenance
supervisor present. I will provide you the results of the sampling as soon as they are available.
3. Transducers are being placed in onsite and offsite wells on October 6— 10. We will be able to download
the data from the transducers on Friday Oct 10th and determine if the irrigation well is affecting
groundwater at the site.
I will continue to update you on the status of work as information becomes available.
Clinton Harms
Project Scientist
SECOR International
charms@secor.com
916-861-0400 ext 228
916-861-0430 fax
10/1/2003
