Contact the local fire department and the San Joaquin Valley Air Pollution Control <br /> District for any applicable permits and requirement-. <br /> 2. Any changes in information and scope of work must be submitted to EHD for approval <br /> prior to commencing work. All new addenda supersede the previous ones. <br /> 3. Contact Thuy Tran at (209) 468-8257 to arrange the following inspection appointments <br /> (a 48-hour notice is required for inspection appointments). <br /> a. Removal of tanks, piping and appurtenances <br /> b. Oversee soil and/or water sampling <br /> c. Verify Tank ID numbers are marked on the USTs <br /> 4. Inert USTs with 30 pounds of dry ice per 1,000 gallon volume after triple rinse. Be aware <br /> additional testing/monitoring to ensure tanks remain inerted may be required by <br /> Lathrop-Manteca Fire Department. <br /> 5. If the soil and water boring samples are found to be contaminated, it must be disposed <br /> of at an approved disposal location. Treatment of soil onsite can only be performed <br /> under a hazardous waste treatment permit. Work plan and fee must be submitted to <br /> EHD Site Mitigation Unit and work plan must be approved before initiating any <br /> assessment or remediation activities. <br />
