S E C
1 SIECOR
•
at the site. A total of 11,870 gallons of groundwater was extracted during the DPE.
Laboratory analysis of extracted groundwater detected TPHg at a concentration of
3,300 parts per billion (ppb). Groundwater extraction flow rates ranged from 0 gallons
i per minute (gpm) to 5.5 gpm for the five day DPE test. During the DPE event
approximately 304.84 pounds of TPHg, 1.32 pounds of benzene, and 0.07 pounds of
MtBE were extracted from the soil beneath the site. Vapor extraction flow rates ranged
' from 15.26 standard cubic feet per minute (scfm) to 166.20 scfm at vacuums ranging
from 15 inches of mercury to 26 inches of mercury for the five day DPE test. The radius
of influence was graphically determined to be less than 71 feet for extraction well MW-6.
' Based on the data collected during the DPE tests, DPE was capable of removing high
concentration of hydrocarbons from soil and groundwater beneath the site (SECOR,
2002).
1 {
1
a
 4
I
a
I
1 1205 SCM.doc
ff 5
