i STATEMENTS <br /> Purge Water Disposal <br /> Non-hazardous groundwater produced during purging and sampling was accumulated at TRC's <br /> groundwater monitoring facility at Concord, California, for transportation by Onyx <br /> Transportation, Inc., to the ConocoPhillips Refinery at Rodeo, California. Disposal at the Rodeo <br /> facility was authorized by ConocoPhillips in accordance with "ESD Standard Operating <br /> Procedures—Water Quality and Compliance", as revised on February 7, 2003. Documentation of <br /> compliance with ConocoPhillips requirements is provided by an ESD Form R-149, which is on <br /> file at TRC's Concord Office. Purge water suspected of containing potentially hazardous <br /> material, such as liquid-phase hydrocarbons, was accumulated separately in a drum for <br /> transportation and disposal by Filter Recycling, Inc. <br /> Limitations <br /> The fluid level monitoring and groundwater sampling activities summarized in this report have <br /> been performed under the responsible charge of a California Registered Geologist or Registered <br /> Civil Engineer and have been conducted in accordance with current practice and the standard of <br /> care exercised by geologists and engineers performing similar tasks in this area. No warranty, <br /> express or implied, is made regarding the conclusions and professional opinions presented in this <br /> report. The conclusions are based solely upon an analysis of the observed conditions. If actual <br /> conditions differ from those described in this report, our office should be notified. <br /> • <br />
