AGE has documented decreasing trends of MtBE in site monitoring wells and a
reduction in plume size due to continued groundwater extraction and treatment over the last two years.
In addition,Rocky's Restaurant well has been destroyed and the Restaurant has been connected to
County supplied water. Therefore, based on the reduction in MtBE concentrations and plume size, and
the change in status of Rocky's Restaurant well, Board staff believe it is appropriate to revise the
quarterly monitoring and sampling requirements.
Board staff has prepared the attached draft Monitoring and Reporting Program (MRP) for Flag City
Chevron at 6421 Capitol Avenue in Lodi for your review and comment. By 13 December 2002,Flag
City Chevron(or their representative) must submit written comments on the attached draft MRP prior to
our finalizing the RP. Flag City Chevron shall not implement the proposed changes in the draft MRP
until it is offlci issued by the Executive Officer.
Please contact arty Hartzell at (916) 255-3115 with any questions or comments.
GORDON BOGGS
Undergro nd Tank Program Manager
Attac ent (Draft MRP)
cc: Mr. Mark Owens, UST Cleanup Fund, SWRCB, Sacramento
Mr. Mike Infurna, San Joaquin County Environmental Health Division, Stockton
Mr. Timothy J.
