The goal of this letter is to bring the best solution to this situation into focus
and provide an avenue to bring the parties together and to create a win-win situation.
i ificant Factors
There are several significant factors to be considered. They are as follows:
• The Saddle City Chevron site is in the process of being sold to the existing operator.
• The property transfer will be held up until a site certification letter is received.
• The corrective action work(i.e., replacement of the underground plumbing system,
pumps, underground tanks, and removal of soil containing hydrocarbons) will be
phased In. As soon as the Saddle City Chevron property transfer has been
completed the underground plumbing system and pumps will be replaced and
within an agreed upon time in the near future, the tank system will also undergo
complete replacement.
