I ND<0.3 NDS 10/07/938 1.0 03 ND<0.3 ND<0.3 NDa50 • The Saddle City Chevron property transfer is being delayed by its groundwater monitoring results. • This delay would not only affect the plans of the buyer and seller, but directly influences the ability of the operator to upgrade the underground plumbing system and pumps and underground storage tanks. • The soil around the tanks that is potentially contaminated with hydrocarbons will be removed during the second phase of corrective action work and at the same time the tank system is upgraded. Delay of property transfer for significant soil or groundwater contamination is understandable. Due to the very low and non detect levels detected at this site it seems beneficial to all parties that the property transfer is completed which will allow for the immediate installation of the upgraded underground plumbing system and pumps. In addition there will be an agreement established with a definite time schedule for the replacement of the underground storage tanks.
