Detailed descriptions of the conditions encountered in the borings
are presented on the boring logs in Appendix A. The stratification lines shown on the logs
represent the approximate boundary between soil types; the actual in-situ transition may be
gradual.
3.2 Soil Sample Annlvtical Results
Soil samples collected at 15, 30, 45, 50,and 60 feet from boring B-1 (MW-1);5,20, 30, 45,50,
and 60 feet from boring B-2 (MW-2); 15, 30, 50, and 55 feet from boring B-3 (MW-3); and 15,
30,50, and 55 feet from boring B-4(MW-4) were submitted for BTEX and TPHg analyses. On::
sample from each boring was submitted and analyzed for total lead. A soil sample exhibiting the
second highest field reacting for volatile hydrocarbons was also analyzed for gasoline range
organics and metals using the TCLP extraction method.
The results Of the analyses are presented in Tables 1,2,and 3. Table 2 lists only the constituents
detected by the analysis. The complete laboratory reports, quality control data, and chain of
custody documentation are presented in Appendix B1. Soil sampling and chain-of-custody
procedures are presented in Appendix C.
SSB ENVIRONMENTAL CONSULTANTS,INC.
i
