Into Coinmunnty Service Area No 31 and our attempts to secure an alternative water source for <br /> Rocky's Restaurant <br />' As you know, on Junc 5, 2001, during our meeting with the California Regional Water Quality <br /> Control Board, we discussed the complex issues surrounding the annexation of the Rocky's <br /> Restaurant Parcel into Community Service Area No 31 <br />' The first issue surrounds the abihty to connect without posting a bond for the expansion of the <br /> sewer treatment plant It seem that the consensus is to await the posting of a bond by a third <br /> party so that we can connect to the sewer and therefore all other services (including water) of <br /> Community Service Area No 31. As was discussed at the meeting on June 5, I contacted Torn <br /> Gau of Public Works to inquire of the possibility of connecting to water services without <br />' formally connecting the sewer services Mr Gau has agreed to review the matter for us <br /> Lastly,we recently discussed the issues surrounding tank fund reimbursement for the annexation <br /> Certainly, Richard Bokides is not in a position financially to pay these significant costs out of <br /> pocket I have previously requested you to obtain preapproval from the tank fiend for these <br /> expenses I have yet to hear of the results of your request You had indicated to me that there <br />' was a concern that Richard Bokides would be benefitting directly from the annexation and <br /> therefore the tank fund may not cover these expenses.
