INTRODUCTION AND SCOPE OF WORK <br /> t � <br /> Advanced GeoEnvironmental, Inc (AGE) has prepared this Quarterly Report for 6421 Capital <br /> Avenue (the site), Lodi, California The site setting is illustrated on Figure 1 Site structures and <br /> monitoring well locations are depicted on Figure 2 <br /> IThe objective of the work was to monitor dissolved petroleum hydrocarbon concentrations in ground - <br /> water,to monitor dissolved petroleum hydrocarbons in the domestic drinking water well located 150 <br /> feet southwest of the site and to characterize ground water flow direction and gradient on the site <br /> This report is prepared in accordance with guidelines established by the San Joaquin County Public <br /> Health Services -Environmental Health Division(PHS-EHD) and by the Central Valley Regional - <br /> I Water Quality Control Board (CVRWQCB) for investigation of underground storage tank (UST) <br /> sites Background information and a description of prior investigations at the site was included in <br /> AGE's Closure Summary Report -April 1996, dated 28 April 1997 <br /> I <br /> 2.0. QUARTERLY MONITORING AND SAMPLING PROCEDURES <br /> On 25 February 1999,ground water monitoring and sampling was performed at wells MW-1 MW-2, <br /> I MW-4, MW-5, MW-6 and MW-7, ground water sampling was performed at the domestic drinking <br /> water well located 150 feet southwest of the site Ground water monitoring procedures for the site <br /> were outlined in the Work Plan Addendum, dated 28 January 1998 and approved by the PHS-EHD <br /> Iby a letter on 24 February 1998 i - <br /> I21 MONITORING WELL PURGE PROCEDURES <br /> Depth to ground water was measured at each monitoring well from the tops of the well casings at <br /> Ithe site to the nearest 0 01 foot utilizing a Solinst water level meter Ground water elevations in each <br /> well at the site were calculated by subtracting the measured depth to groundwater from surveyed <br /> casing elevations(Table 1) Ground water elevations were plotted and contoured on a scaled site map <br /> (Figure 3) ' <br /> After water levels were measured, approximately 8 to 10 gallons of ground water (a minimum of <br /> I three well-volumes per well) were removed from wells MW-1, MW-2, MW-4, MW-5, MW-6A, <br /> MW-613 and MW-7 utilizing a two-stage submersible pump Approximately 8 gallons of ground <br /> water] were removed from well MW-613 before being pumped "dry" Temperature, pH and <br /> conductivity were measured for stabilization at regular purge-volume intervals from each well using <br /> an ICM Model 52200 water analyzer Field data and logs are included with Appendix A Purged <br /> Advanced GeoEnvironmental,Inc <br /> I r <br /> Y <br /> 1 <br /> 5 <br />
