THE FIRST <br /> PLATE THEY RECEIVED HAD FOOD RESIDUE ON IT. COMPLAINANT ASKED FOR ANOTHER PLATE. THE SECOND <br /> PLATE ALSO HAD FOOD ON IT. COMPLAINANT STATED"OVERALL, 3 OF THE 4 PLATES THAT MADE IT TO MY <br /> TABLE WERE BADLY CHIPPED AS WELL <br /> VIOLATIONS AND CORRECTIVE ACTIONS <br /> Items listed on this report as violations do not meet the requirements set forth in the California Health and Safety Code commencing with section 7, <br /> 113700.All violations must be corrected within specified timeframe. Violations that are classed as"MAJOR"pose an immediate threat to public health <br /> and have the potential to cause foodborne illness.All major violations must be corrected immediately. Noncompliance may warrant immediate closure of <br /> the food facility. <br /> OVERALL INSPECTION NOTES AND COMMENTS <br /> FOOD ITEM--LOCATION --TEMP°F--COMMENTS <br /> No Temperature Data Collected <br /> NOTES <br /> Owner was not aware of the complaint. He states that whenever a plate is observed to be chipped of cracked, it is removed <br /> and a new plate is purchased to replace it. <br /> Upon inspection, some of the plates did have food residue from splatter on the edges(the plates are positioned on a shelf <br /> directly across from the griddle). No chipped or cracked plates were observed this date. <br /> Corrective action required: <br /> 1) If a plate has food residue that is dried on or if the residue is from raw product contact with the plate, remove the plate and <br /> return it to the warewashing area to clean and sanitize thoroughly. <br /> 2) If a plate has new (not dried on)food residue (for example: splatter from food being placed on the plate or splatter from <br /> ready to eat food), the plate shall be wiped off with a clean wiping cloth. <br /> 3)Any plate or serving dish shall be inspected for cracks, chips, and overall condition prior to service to the customer.
