On March 8, 1996,
the depth to water was measured in wells MW-1, MW-2 and MW-3. Groundwater elevations are
shown in Table 1. The average groundwater elevation has increased approximately 5.02 feet
since June 22, 1995. The groundwater gradient is to the north with a magnitude of 0.001 ft/ft or
5.28 feet per mile. The groundwater gradient for March 8, 1996 is shown on Figure 2. Copies of
field notes are contained in Attachment 1.
During this monitoring event, the wells were found to be in good condition with no visible
defects. The next scheduled activities are in third quarter 1996 and include groundwater
monitoring, sampling, analysis, and reporting.
We recommend that you submit a copy of this letter-report to Linda Turkatte at the San Joaquin
County Public Health Services Environmental Health Division.
