(ES) is pleased to submit to you, on behalf of Greyhound
Lines, Inc., the August monthly monitoring report for the Greyhound Terminal in Stockton,
California. Table 1 (attached) shows groundwater levels and pertinent observations from the
inspection of the monitoring wells. A site map showing the monitoring well locations is
included as Figure 1.
During our site visit on August 4, 1992, all on-site monitoring wells were inspected for
signs of hydrocarbon contamination. No free product or hydrocarbon sheens were observed in
any of the on-site wells.
Our next site visit is scheduled for September 9, 1992. Groundwater samples will be
collected as part of Greyhound's quarterly groundwater sampling and analysis program.
Groundwater samples will be analyzed for TPHD (DTSC/LUFT Method) and BTEX (EPA
Method 602). We will notify you at least one week prior to sampling so that you can have a
representative on site during sampling activities.
If you have any questions or require additional information, please call us at (315) 451-
9560.
Sincerely,
ENGINEERING-SCIENCE, INC.
Martin N.
