ENGINEERING-SCIENCE,INC.
Mr. Michael J. Infurna
August 28, 1992
—r Page 2
Greyhound Lines, Inc. has reviewed and approved this report and has assigned ES to be
their designated representative for preparation and submittal of these quarterly status reports.
The enclosed quarterly status report has been completed accurately, and in accordance with all
applicable LUFT and Tri-Regional requirements. Greyhound Lines, Inc. agrees with the
conclusions and recommendations outlined in this cover letter and the enclosed quarterly status
report. The next sampling event will be conducted during the month of September 1992. Mr.
Michael Infurna (EHS, San Joaquin County) will be notified at least one week prior to the
sampling event so that a representative may be on site during sampling. A quarterly status
report will be prepared and submitted to your department on or before October 15, 1992.
Greyhound proposes to continue the groundwater monitoring and quarterly sampling
program at this location for a total period of one year. After the end of the monitoring
program, based on the results of the Preliminary Site Investigation Report submitted
November 27, 1991, Greyhound proposes that a closure for this facility should be issued if
quarterly groundwater analyses consistently indicate non-detectable concentrations of BTEX
and TPH contaminants in groundwater samples.
Please inform Greyhound Lines, Inc. of your decision regarding the acceptance of this
revised quarterly status report and our proposed schedule for meeting site closure
requirements. If you have any questions or require additional information, please call us at
(315) 451-9560.
Sincerely,
ENGINEERING-SCIENCE, INC.
David L.
