(GTI) which is dated December 19, 1991. PHS/EHD is
in agreement with the your statement regarding the consistent
groundwater gradient and levels of dissolved hydrocarbons. Based
on the data collected thus far, PHS/EHD recommends the submittal of
a proposal to continue the preliminary investigation and evaluation
to determine the lateral extent of the groundwater contamination.
As you know, this information is essential for the preparation of
the Problem Assessment Report (PAR) and should be the focus of your
efforts during this phase of the investigation.
During the collection of the next quarterly samples, please include
fecal coliform testing for monitoring wells 1 and 2 . Additionally,
please remind your consultants to notify PHS/EHD at least 48 hours
prior any sampling events, on any of your sites.
Should you have any questions regarding these matters, please
contact Steven Schneider, REHS, of my staff at (209) 468-3441.
Jogi Kh na, M.D. , M.P.H.
Health/O ficer
It
-
c
rie A. otulla, RE S, rogram Manager
environmental Health Division
LAC/SS: lb
c: CVRWQCB - Elizabeth Thayer
c: Groundwater Technology Inc. - Sandra Lindsey
4057 Port Chicago Highway, Concord, CA 94520
A Division of San Joaquin County Health Care Services
