WASTE DISCHARGE REQUIREMENTS _5_ <br /> THE MARLEY COOLING TOWER COMPANY <br /> STOCKTON, SAN JOAQUIN COUNTY <br /> E. Provisions: <br /> 1. Neither the discharge nor its treatment shall create a nuisance or Dollu- <br /> tion as defined in Section 13050 of the California Water Code. <br /> 2. The Discharger shall comply with the "Standard Provisions and Reporting <br /> Requirements (NPDES)", dated 15 May 1986, which are part of this Order. <br /> 3. The Discharger shall comply with the attached Monitoring and Reporting <br /> Program No. <br /> 4. This Order expires on and the Discharger must file a <br /> Report of Waste Discharge in accor ante with Title 23, California Admini- <br /> strative Code, not later than 180 days in advance of such date as appli- <br /> cation for issuance of new waste discharge requirements. <br /> 5. In the event of any change in control or ownership of land or waste <br /> discharge facilities presently owned or operated by the Discharger, the <br /> Discharger shall notify the succeeding owner or operator of the existence <br /> of this Order by letter, a copy of which shall be forwarded to this <br /> office. <br /> 6. The Discharger will be required to file a new Report of Waste Discharge <br /> if it is determined from the present pollution investigation that signi- <br /> ficant changes in the facility operations are necessary. <br /> 7. The Discharger must notify the Regional Board as soon as it knows or has <br /> reason to believe: <br /> a. that any activity has occurred or will occur that would result in the <br /> discharge of any toxic pollutnat that is not limited in this permit, <br /> if that discharge will exceed the highest of the following "notifica- <br /> tion levels". <br /> (1 ) One hundred micrograms per liter (100 ug/1 ); <br /> (2) Two hundred micrograms per liter (200 ug/1 ) for acrolein and <br /> acrylonitrile; Five hundred micrograms per liter (500 ug/1 ) <br /> for 2,4-dinitrophenol and 2-methyl-4,6-dinitrophenol ; and one <br /> milligram per liter ( 1 ) ug/l for antimony; <br /> (3) Five (5) times the maximum concentration value reported for <br /> that pollutant in the permit application; or <br /> (4) the level established by the Regional Board in accordance <br /> with 40 CFR 122.44(f) . <br />
