2. Begin installation of ion exchanger tanks. <br /> 3. Removal and re-installation of pipe for force main <br /> to diverting canal. Some length of " out <br /> of spec" pipe was installed and will have to <br /> be replaced. This does not affect the pipe <br /> under the road and over the levee. <br /> II. Phase III - Ground Water Assessment. <br /> a. Drilling of additional wells has been completed <br /> and preliminary report is attached. Since the <br /> . 05 ppm concentratiopn line for chromium was not <br /> completely defined, 4 more wells - 1 shallow and 3 <br /> intermediate, are being drilled. <br /> b. Future - Wells should be complete and sample <br /> taken by Feb. 2, 1987. This will delay the <br /> final report of the Phase III Ground Water Assessment <br /> plan until the end of February <br /> instead of the end of January as had been <br /> planned. <br /> III. Work Plan <br /> The revised work plan should be issued the week <br /> of January 5, 1987. <br /> IV. Surface Water Sample - South Yard <br /> The attached report from J. H. Kleinfelder shows <br /> the results of the run-off samples taken from the <br /> South yard on Dec. 12, 1986. <br /> Future - a meeting will be held with Marley and <br /> Black & Veatch to discuss results of the test. <br /> V. Personnel Changes <br /> Mr. Dan Bunney who has been acting as Marley' s inspector <br /> will be transferred to another job and will be replaced <br /> by Mr. Tom Murray. <br /> VI . Drain System Inspection <br /> The storm water drain system was inspected on Dec. 8, <br /> 1986 by Mr. Tom Hickey of Black & Veatch. His report is <br /> attached. <br />
