As <br /> presented in the enclosed discussion, this action is technically feasible, <br /> complies with the requirements of the Toxic Pits Cleanup Act for cease <br /> discharge, fulfills the intent of interim closure by maintaining options <br /> for future work under the Remedial Action Plan, and does not conflict with <br /> future closure requirements as specified in applicable sections of CAC <br /> Title 22 and Title 23. <br /> Under the provisions of Article 6.6 of the Remedial Action Order, the <br /> modifications indicated on the enclosed Notice of Modifications should be <br /> made to Exhibit D of the Order. <br /> Activities at the site will follow the schedule presented in the enclosed <br /> discussion to maintain the project schedule deadlines specified in the <br /> Order. <br /> Sincerely, <br /> David W.
