Existing well sampling will be completed based <br /> on the established well sampling schedule. <br /> DHS Comment: <br /> Page 4-10 Second paragraph, first sentence: <br /> Delete "and as appropriate for" and add, "arsenic, copper, <br /> and general minerals. " Delete fourth sentence too. <br /> Note- <br /> All water and soil analyses performed pursuant to the <br /> subject workplan must be performed in accordance with the <br /> most recent edition of the referenced standard or analytical <br /> method. <br /> MCTC Response: <br /> This first sentence will be modified to read as follows: <br /> "Samples from new wells will be analyzed initially for total <br /> chromium, hexavalent chromium, arsenic, copper and general <br /> minerals. " <br /> After initial characterization of a new well, analyzing periodic <br /> eater samples for total chromium only should adequately describe <br /> changes that may occur in the plume since chromium is the only <br /> wood treating chemical found in the groundwater by past sampling <br /> effcrts, and hexavalent chromium is the prevalent form of <br /> chromium in groundwater. <br /> 11654 7 <br />
