SECOR has prepared this report to document the results of
pilot testing activities conducted at the site.
Chevron plans to conduct an internal review of the data summarized in this Report during the fourth
quarter of 2003 to select a potential remedial alternative for the site. Prior to the internal review,
SECOR would like to meet with the San Joaquin County Environmental Health Division (County) to
discuss remedial objectives for the site. SECOR requests that this meeting take place during the
first week of November 2003. Based on the expected duration of these activities, SECOR
anticipates a corrective action plan (CAP) will be prepared for submittal to the County during the first
quarter 2004. SECOR will also require information from the City of Stockton (City) regarding the
planned land use for the former Chevron property. The results from the installation of replacement
monitoring wells proposed in the Work Plan for Monitoring Well Installation (Work Plan); dated June
24, 2003, will also be helpful in assessing potential remedial alternatives. SECOR looks forward to
receiving approval of the Work Plan as soon as possible.
If you have any questions or comments regarding the contents of this letter or the enclosed Report,
please contact David Evans at (916) 861-0400 extension 234, or Robert (Bob) Cochran of Chevron
at (925) 842-9655.
Sincerely,
SECOR International Incorporated
David M.
