This Case Narrative applies to the data from the analysis (es)
of Arsenic EPA Method 7060, Hexavalent Chromium EPA Method 7196,
Nitrate - N EPA Method 300 . 0, Trivalent Chromium by calculation,
Copper and Chromium EPA Method 6010 for ChemWest Case Number 8888 .
All Blanks contained no analytes at or above the reporting
limit for each analyte.
The percent recoveries from all initial and continuing
calibration verification standards were within the required control
limits.
The percent recoveries for all laboratory quality control
samples were within the posted control limits.
Due to the complex matrix of the sample there were excessive
dilutions required to obtain results within the linear range of the
method for Hexavalent Chromium. Any small error introduced by the
dilutions may have lead to large discrepancies in the final results
between the Total Chromiums and the Hexavalent Chromiums.
Verle HeyeI7 Date
Inorganics Manager
COMPUCHEM WESTERN DMSION
