The wells were given time to recover to <br /> at least 80 percent of their original static water volume before samp!ing,as indicated by weil monitoring <br /> using an Interface probe. This procedure allows for the collection of representative groundwater <br /> samples. The development water was collected in 55-gallon steel drums and stored on site pending <br /> proper disposal. <br /> After the wells had adequately recharged,groundwater samples were Collected with an <br /> EPA-approved disposable sampler. Groundwater samples to be analyzed for the presence of BTEX, <br /> TPH-as-gasoline,and chlorinated hydrocarbons yd ocarbons(MWS)were placed In 40•miliiliter(mq glass vials, <br /> acidified to ensure a pH below 2.0,then sealed with Teflon ra septa caps.
