FIRST AID PROCEDURES ANU EMERGENCY TREATMENT <br /> In all cases of poisoning, follow standard procedures for poison <br /> management, first aid, and cardiopulmonary resuscitation. Whenever <br /> transporting a poisoned person to a hospital , bring the container, label , <br /> or other information concerning the product (without delaying transport) <br /> to assist medical personnel with diagnosis and treatment. Four different <br /> routes of exposure and their respective first aid/poison managements are <br /> outlined below: <br /> Ingestion: <br /> iron: <br /> o Dilute the poison by offering and encouraging the person to drink _ <br /> one or two glassfuls of water or milk. Do not use carbonated <br /> fluids.
