Initially, the bailer was lowered 5 times to remove approximately 15 gallons of water.
' The first bailer contained mostly silt with a small amount of drilling mud and sand.
The next four bailers contained silty water. After the 5t"bailer, the well was surged
for 22 minutes. The bailer was then lowered 10 additional times with the first 6
' bailers containing some fine sand and silt. Approximately 45 gallons were removed
by the bailer.
The submersible pump was lowered to approximately 19 feet below the water level
(approximately 69 feet above the top of the well screen). 440 gallons were pumped
from the well in 28 minutes at an average rate of approximately 16 gallons per minute
' (GPM). Turbidity declined from a peak of 2995 NTU to 4 NTU(Figure 12).
Pumping was stopped and the submersible pump lowered to a few inches from the
' bottom of the well. Pumping resumed with the submersible pump raised gradually
over the 15 feet of well screen set at this well. An additional 748 gallons were
pumped from the well with the final turbidity measurement at 14 NTU.
tThe bottom of well MW-449D was measured at 159.21 ft TOC at the conclusion of
development.
9.0 Well Survey
The locations and elevations of top of casings for wells MW-4495, MW-449D, MW-
450S and MW450D were surveyed on January 14, 2013 by Varney Land Surveys
(Licensed Surveyor#5030) of Sacramento, California(Appendix D). The coordinates for
each well were surveyed to Zone 3 of the California State Plane Coordinate System,
' which was referenced to the North American Datum of 1983 (NAD83). The elevations
were surveyed to the National Geodetic Vertical Datum of 1929 (NGVD29). Table 2
includes the survey information for each well.
1
' Well Completion Report for Monitor Well Pairs MW449 and MW-450 7128-9
SPX Cooling Technologies Dudek
' Stockton,California Page 9 January 2013
