April 5,2002 <br /> DISCUSSION: <br /> Groundwater monitoring and sampling was performed by Gettler-Ryan Inc. on .January 30`h and 31", 2002_ <br /> Fourteen wells were sampled during this event. TPHg was detected in samples collected from nine of the fourteen <br /> wells at concentrations ranging from 52 gg/l in the sample collected from MW-4 to 200,000 pg/l in the sample <br /> collected from MW-9S. Benzene was detected in samples collected from nine of the wells at concentrations <br /> ranging from 1.0 gg/l in the sample collected from MW-3 to 25,000 gg/l in the sample collected from MW-9S. <br /> MtBE was not detected in any of the samples collected during this event_ 1,2-DCA and EDB were detected in the <br /> sample collected from MW-9S at concentrations of 930 ggd and 380 pg/l, respectively. TPHd was detected in <br /> samples collected from twelve of the wells at concentrations ranging from 190 gg/l in the samples collected from <br /> MW-4 and MW-6 to 240,000 gg/l in the sample collected from MW-9. TPHmo was detected in samples collected <br /> from four of the wells at concentrations ranging from 1,400 gg/I in the sample collected from MW-10 to 38,000 <br /> pg/1 in the sample collected from MW-9. Depth to water in the monitoring wells across the site decreased an <br /> average of approximately 0.76 feet from the previous quarter. Groundwater flow was to the southeast at gradients <br /> of 0.001 to 0.002 ft/ft, consistent with historical data. <br /> LIMITATIONS: <br /> The findings presented in this letter are based on data and interpretations provided by Gettler-Ryan, Inc.
