The report failed to
provide tracking records for the removed tanks. Ttie report also did not include proper
documentation concerning the disposition of the contaminated soil stockpiles that were
removed from the site. Please forward the signed tank tracking records and soil
disposition receipts to PHSIEHD immediately.
Analytical results from the water samples collectec on June 17, 1999 indicate that the
vertical and lateral extent of the groundwater contamination at this site has not been
defined. Please prepare a work plan to define the vertical and lateral extent of the
petroleum hydrocarbon plume at this site and submit it to PHSIEHD no later than
November 30, 1999. Soil borings!for the collection of soil and groundwater samples will
be necessary for a complete site characterization, and down-gradient wells will be
required for monitoring the extent and degree oft the dissolved contaminant plume.
If you have any questions or comments please call Lori Duncan at (209) 468-0337.
Donna Heran, REHS, Director
Environmental Health Division
G
Lori Duncan, Senior REHS MargaMt Lagorio, EHS
Site Mitigation, Unit IV Supervisor, Unit IV
cc: Mark List, CVRWQCB
Kitty Walker, City of Stockton Redevelopment Agency
Rusty Benkosky, Secor International Inc.
A Division of,San Joaquin County Health Care Services
II
