The project is categorically exempt pursuant to Section 15301,Class 1,of the CEQA guidelines <br /> because it meets the specified conditions for the use of an existing facility." <br /> SCH#: Name of Environmental Document: City of Stockton Use Permit No.P15-158 <br /> Note: The final environmental document(including notice of determination)or notice of exemption must be submitted to CalRecycle. <br /> Processing of your Il'aste T ire Facility Permit cannot proceed until such documents are submitted. <br /> ENVIRONMENTAL SETTING <br /> Describe the current land use of the facility and adjacent properties within 1,000 feet of the facility. If possible,attach photographs of <br /> these areas.Date and label photos. <br /> On-site: The site is primarily paved. It is flat with proper sloping for storm water drainage.There is no vegetation at the facility <br /> due to the pavement. <br /> The facility is located in a heavy industrial zone. Other large companies operating within 1,000 feet of the <br /> Adjacent Properties: industrial zone include:Holt of California(CAT dealer),Les Schwab tire Center,Klein Bros Warehouse, <br /> ALCO Iron and Metal.Recycling Company and Paul's Truck Wash,Valero Gas Station. <br /> ENVIRONMENTAL SETTING CONT <br /> Describe any existing vegetation at the facility and on adjacent properties. If any threatened or endangered species occur in the <br /> project area or on adjacent properties,identify the species and indicate how they will be impacted by the proposed project. These <br /> ve etation tv es should be shown in the photographs submitted. <br /> There is no vegetation at the facility with the exception of decorative shrubs located in front of the office entrance. Please <br /> On-site: see attached photos. <br /> Adjacent properties: The facility is located in a heavy industrial zone that is primarily paved with some landscaping trees and <br /> shrubs for decorative purposes. <br /> Describe existing wildlife at the facility and on adjacent properties. If any threatened or endangered species occur in the project area <br /> or on ad'acent properties,identify the species and indicate how they will be impacted by the proposed project. <br /> The is no wildlife to be threatened or endangered located at the facility. Additionally,Laurel Boyd outlined in a letter <br /> addressing the San Joaquin County Multi-Species Habitat Conservation&Open Space Plan(SJMSCP)response to local <br /> On-site: jurisdiction advisory agency notice to SJCOG that"This project is not subject to participate at this time due to structure <br /> and ground disturbances already existing." <br /> Adjacent properties: There is no wildlife to be threatened or endangered located adjacent to the facility. <br />
