CRM Stockton Reduction/Elimination Plan
The proposed reduction/elimination plan will be as follows:
1. Reduction of receiving scrap tires from tire haulers. Reduce receiving hours per week down to
55 hours per week in week 1, and scale down to 40 hours per week within thirty days prior to
the commencement of the reduction/closure plan.
2. Prior to the commencement of the closure plan, our proposed closure plan will be submitted to
CalRecycle for approval. The closure plan will include a public announcement to the tire haulers
&generators informing of the facility closure. The public announcement also will be posted at
the site entrance gate.
3. The scrap tires will be processed at the rate of 500 scrap tires per hour to eliminate all of the
stored scrap tires.
4. The product from the recycling of scrap tires will packaged in one ton super sacks and shipped
to the rubber asphalt, sports fields, and molding manufacturing industries.
5. The total proposed closure plan is approximately 25 working days if processed at the CRM
facility and between 14-28 days if the scrap tires are shredded and shipped to a permitted
disposal site.
