STOCKTON GAS LOAD CENTER TL 489-0510-02 <br /> 535 CENTER STREET PAGE 2 <br /> STOCKTON, CALIFORNIA <br /> SAMPLING PROCEDURE <br /> The soil samples were obtained by Mr. Ray Kurz with The <br /> Twining Laboratories, Inc. , on October 30 and 31, 1989. Soil <br /> sample No. IA was retrieved from the bottom of the east <br /> excavation at a depth of 15 feet BSG. Soil sample No. 1 was <br /> retrieved from the west excavation at a depth of 15 feet BSG. <br /> Soil samples No. 2 through 5 were retrieved from the' sidewalls of <br /> the west excavation at a depth of 14 feet BSG. The sampling <br /> depths and locations were specified by Mr. Mike Bennett of PG&E. <br /> The soil sample were retrieved using brass sleeves, then capped <br /> with aluminum foil, then plastic caps and immediately packed in <br /> ice for shipment to our laboratory. The samples were clearly <br /> identified and banded with shipping seals. The samples retrieved <br /> in the field were brought to our facility in Fresno, California <br /> on October 30, and 31, 1989.
