The report <br /> selects construction of a portland cement cap as the preferred <br /> IRM to eliminate direct human exposure to residues in the soil <br /> adjacent to the southeastern portion of the PG&E site. The <br /> Department approves the selected IRM. Based on the additional <br /> surface soil sample data submitted February 6, 1992, PG&E' s <br /> recommendation to extend the cement cap has also been approved. <br /> As a result, the IRM will cover the area indicated on the <br /> attached figure.
