Amador
Re: Docket #HSA 90/91/08 -- PG&E Stockton Former Manufactured Gas Plant
Site
Dear Mr. Landis:
This letter addendum supplements the Final Workplan -- Phase III Groundwater
Investigation (Workplan), dated July 20, 1993, for PG&E's Stockton Former
Manufactured Gas Plant Site, and reflects those changes and points of clarification
discussed in the DTSC/Regional Water Quality Control Board/PG&E conference call
of July 27, 1993.
As we agreed:
A new Zone B monitoring well, MW-17, will be installed during Phase
IIIc of the work; the final location of this well will be determined during
Phase IIIc;
The groundwater monitoring program described in the Workplan will
begin during Phase IIIc and will continue until the Department
determines that the program may be amended or terminated. All
existing monitoring wells will be sampled during Phase IIIa and Phase
IIIc, whereupon PG&E will propose appropriate modifications to the
groundwater monitoring program for future monitoring events.
Attached also is a copy of the overall project schedule which reflects the changes
discussed during the July 27 conference call.
We look forward to receiving your approval of the workplan and schedule. If you have
any questions, please call me at (415) 973-7601.
Sincerely,
Robert C. Doss, P.E.
Project Manager
Manufactured Gas Plant Project
