1
Quarterly Report - First Quarter 2005
• FERNANDO'S PLACE
' 1201 South Center Street, Stockton, California
' 1.0. INTRODUCTION A
At the request of Mr Roger Huckins,Advanced GeoEnvironmental, Inc (AGE) has prepared this
' quarterly report for the property located at 1201 South Center Street,Stockton,California(site) The
scope of work included the performance of quarterly ground'water monitoring,"submission of
' monitoring and analytical data to the State Water Resources Control Board's GeoTracker
information management system, and preparation of this report The location of the site and the
surrounding area is illustrated on Figure 1, structures, former underground storage tank (UST)
locations, and soil boring and monitoring well locations are illustrated on Figure 2 Site background
' information is provided in Appendix A
' Based on the results of previous investigations, AGE has informally identified five hydrogeologic
units between first encountered ground water and 199feet below surface grade (bsg) as having
significant intervals of apparently porous,coarser-grained soil separated by intervals of finer-grained,
' less permeable soil (Appendix A) Hydrogeologic Unit 1 (HU-1) was identified at depths between
25 feet(first encountered ground water)and 90 feet bsg, it was subdivided into three sub-units(HU
1 Upper Zone,HU-1 Middle Zone, and HU-1 Lower Zone)that may not have significant barriers to
' • vertical migration of contaminations Hydrogeologic Unit 2(HU-2)was identified at depths between
112 feet and 125 feet bsg, Hydrogeologic Unit 3 (HU-3) was identified at depths between 140 feet
and 160 feet bsg, Hydrogeologic Unit 4 (HU-4) was identified at depths between 160 feet and 175
' feet bsg, and Hydrogeologic Unit 5 (HU-5)was identified at depths between 190'feet and 199 feet
bsg
' 2.0. PROCEDURES
' Field work was performed in accordance with guidelines issued by the Central Valley Regional
Water Quality Control Board (CVRWQCB) and the San Joaquin County Environmental Health
Department(EHD) for the investigation of underground storage tank(UST) sites and the sampling
' of ground water monitoring wells, respectively
' 2 1 WELL MONITORING AND EVACUATION
On 07 and 08 March 2005, ground water monitoring and sampling were performed at one single-7
' completed monitoring well location(MW-1), two clustered monitoring well locations (MW-2AIB
and MW-3A/B),and six multi-chambered monitoring well locations[MW-4(A-E),MW-5(A-E),and
' MW-6(A-D)through MW-9(A-D)], a total of 31 well points were monitored and sampled Due to
lack of response AGE was unable to report ground water monitoring data for the adjacent Arc Weld
iand Pump site
1 t Advanced GeoEnvironmental,inc
j <
