RECENT.QUARTER ACTIVITIES Y <br /> • The First Quarter 1998 groundwater monitoring event was performed. <br /> • The Fourth Quarter 1998 Quarterly Summary Report (QSR) was re-submitted with <br /> Gettler-Ryan,Groundwater Monitoring Report attachment. <br /> • The First Quarter 1999 QSR was submitted. ' <br /> NEXT QUARTER ACTIVITIES <br /> • The Second Quarter 1999 quarterly sampling c ent will be performed. <br /> • Ethanol, Tertiary-Butyl Alcohol (TBA), Di-isopropyl Ether (DIPE), Ethyl Tertiary-Butyl <br /> Ether(ETBE), and Tertiary-Amyl Methyl Etheri(TAME) were not detected at the site <br /> during all four quarters of 1998.. Furthermore, lItBE was not detected or was detected at <br /> very low concentrations duffing this same period. Based on these results, and the fact that <br /> operations at this site ceased in.1962, which predates the use of oxygenates, IT <br /> recommends discontinuing all oxygenate analysis beginning the second quarter, 1999. <br /> • The First Quarter 1999 QSR will be re-submitted including the Gettler-Ryan' <br /> Groundwater Monitoring Report attachment. <br /> CHARACTERIZATION/REMEDIAL STATUS <br /> Soil contamination delineated?
