Possible corrective action procedures to be
implemented are described below.
CORRECTIVE ACTION PLAN
Background
-The site is located on the southeast corner.of the intersection of Central Avenue and Eleventh
Street in Tracy, California. The"asphalt-paved property currently serves as a parking lot for a
Wells Fargo Bank. Land usage in the site vicinity is primarily retail and commercial. Three
on-site groundwater monitoring wells were installed in 1995 to assess groundwater
conditions. Diesel- and gasoline-range hydrocarbons have been detected in.these wells.
Groundwater occurs.at approximately 10 feet below grade.
Two.underground storage tanks have been shown to remain, beneath the sidewalk adjacent to"
Eleventh "Street, in the north central portion of the"site (Figure 1). These tanks appear to be
theeasternmost tanks of the original fuel storage to ik cluster, which was in service from
approximately 1921 to 1950. The remaining tanks are of 550-gallon capacity, single-walled'
205 Gateway Place, Suite 440, San Jose,California 95110 (408)441-7500 FAX(408)441.-7539
