(PACIFIC)'is conducting environmental work on behalf <br /> of Unocal Corporation,(d.b.a. Unocal). This letter is to follow up on our phone" <br /> conversation of today. Currently, there are two 500-gallon underground storage tanks <br /> (USTs) located beneath the city sidewalk at the site referenced above. The attached <br /> ' Figure 1 shows the approximate location of the USTs.1 San Joaquin County has requested. <br /> that PACIFIC evaluate means of properly abandoning the USTs. The options are removal. <br /> by excavation or abandonment in place. PACIFIC understands that the City of Tracy has <br /> a moratorium on underground street openings.
