Quarterly Summary Report <br /> First Quarter 1995 <br /> Former Unocal Service Station 0123 <br /> 1034 Central Avenue <br /> Tracy, California <br /> APR 2 4 1955 <br /> City/County ID#: Unknown <br /> County: San Joaquin ENVIRONMENTAL HEALTH <br /> PERMIT/SERVICES <br /> BACKGROUND <br /> The site was reportedly an operating Unocal service station from approximately 1920 through <br /> 1962. Two underground storage tank(UST) complexes have existed at the site. A cluster of <br /> three tanks located at the northern property boundary adjacent to 11th Street, were identified <br /> as "abandoned" on a general arrangement plan, and a second cluster of three tanks to the <br /> south were identified as active USTs. The property was purchased by Bank of America and <br /> the service station was demolished in 1962. The site is currently an asphalt-paved parking lot <br /> owned by and servicing the Wells Fargo Bank located immediately to the south. A limited <br /> subsurface investigation was conducted by LMS and is detailed in a March 29, 1994,Phase I <br /> Report, Addendum 1. As requested by the San Joaquin County Public Health Services, <br /> Environmental Health Division, Unocal submitted a work plan dated, October 6, 1994, to <br /> perform a soil and groundwater investigation. <br /> RECENT QUARTER ACTIVITIES <br /> Unocal negotiated.for a right-of-entry agreement with the current'property owner. <br /> NEXT QUARTER ACTIVITIES <br /> Pending the receipt of a right-of-entry agreement, Unocal will notify the County, submit well <br /> permit applications, and initiate the soil and groundwater investigation. <br /> CHARACTERIZATION/REMEDIAL STATUS <br /> Soil contamination delineated?
