The title search revealed that Unocal operated the tanks
from 1923 to 1965.
A conversation with Bill Robinson of the City of Tracy Fire Department revealed
that there is no record of an underground storage tank removal at this site.
A Phase I Site Assessment Report which was received and reviewed by PHS/EHD on
April 4, 1994, documents soil and groundwater contamination on this property.
Based upon the evidence that Unocal was the last operator of the underground
storage tanks, you are hereby directed to investigate the extent of the petroleum
contamination documented on site.
A workplan shall be submitted for the continued soil and groundwater
investigation of this site by October 7, 1994.
