I
appreciate your quick response to my request. I would first like to say that I sincerely apologize for any inconvenience
this survey issue has caused. The survey for the subject facility was conducted on November 5, 2004,
which was nearly two months prior to when regulations went into effect requiring electronic submittal of
survey data in the GEO_Z and GEO_XY format to GeoTracker(the electronic data was submitted to
GeoTracker on January 3, 2005). In addition, the report containing the surveyor's report was dated
December 14, 2004, and mailed out of our office prior to the above-mentioned ESI requirements. To the
best of my knowledge, our California Registered Land Surveyor was at that time (the report was stamped
December 10, 2004)accustomed to providing values in the California Coordinate System Zone 3 as
opposed to the latitude and longitude format required in the Survey XYZ Guidelines and Restrictions.
Please be aware that we uploaded the survey data according to the latitude/longitude digital requirements
of GeoTracker, and that the surveyor's report contains the same points in the California Coordinate System
Zone 3 in U.S. Survey Feet. The data uploaded to GeoTracker are correct, as are the data in the
Surveyor's Report. Is it necessary for us to provide a hardcopy surveyor's report of these values in latitude
and longitude? I ask because the California Registered Land Surveyor for this survey is no longer with our
company, and it may take some time to provide you with what you are requesting. If this is necessary,
though, I will do my best to send it to you as soon as possible. Again, I am truly sorry for any
inconvenience this has caused, and I hope that this e-mail provides any needed clarification regarding the
subject facility and survey data. If you have any other questions regarding the ESI for this facility, or if you
need a modified report as indicated below, please let me know at your earliest convenience.
3/22/2006
