I don't need a copy of this information since
the well was destroyed.
I am faxing a copy of the surveyor's report dated December 10, 2004, for wells MW-1, MW-2, and MW-3R
located at 730 East Channel Street, Stockton, California, submitted to San Joaquin County Environmental Health
Department. The report does not include the same digital format as data submitted to GeoTracker. In return, I
would appreciate if you would fax a copy of the surveyor's report that contains the same digital information as
submitted to GeoTracker for monitoring wells MW-1, MW-2 and MW-3R. Thank you.
Vicki McCartney,Senior REHS
San Joaquin County
Environmental Health Department
304 E.Weber Avenue
Stockton,CA 95202-2708
Phone: (209)468-3456
Fax: (209)468-3433
E-mail: vmccartney@sjcehd.com
-----Original Message-----
From: Don Kresse [ma!Ito:dkresse@condorearth.com]
Sent: Tuesday, March 21, 2006 1:45 PM
To: Vicki McCartney [EH]
Cc: Nuel Henderson [EH]; Bill Cook; Suzanna Cotton
Subject: Well Survey Data for Former Metropolitan Transit Facility, 730 East Channel Street, Stockton, CA
Hello Vicky,
I thought I'd touch base with you regarding the above referenced site. In your February 22, 2006
letter for the site, you indicated that we did not include the survey data for MW-3 in our survey
report while we did upload the data for MW-3 into GeoTracker. In addition, you indicated that we
did not include latitude and longitude data in the survey report for the existing three wells. First, I
wanted to provide some clarification;then, perhaps, you can provide me with clarification
regarding the SJCEHD needs.
Regarding MW-3: during the field survey our crew did in fact get coordinates (northing and
casting) for the spot that was previously MW-3 (the top of the grout column). They could not, of
course, get the "well"elevation since the well was previously destroyed and there was no well
collar to survey. So, when we uploaded the data for MW-3 the elevation was recorded as "0.00". I
believe our licensed land surveyor left the latitude and longitude for MW-3 (northing and casting)
off his stamped report because the well was abandoned. I am wondering, in fact, why our field
crew even collected survey information for the destroyed well. In any case, they did, and because
they did we uploaded the data for it to GeoTracker. With this information in mind please let me
know if you would still like us to send you a revised survey report with the MW-3 coordinates
shown. This can be done if you believe it is necessary. Thank you.
3/22/2006
