Vicki McCartney [EH]
From: Vicki McCartney jEH]
Sent: Friday, July 30, 2010 3:37 PM
To: 'Kirk Larson'
Subject: RE: Five year reviews
Kirk:
This is the status of the following ,sites:
1601 Turnpike Road
Monitoring well MW-12 was installed off-site on June 7, 2010, to delineate the groundwater
plume to the east of this site. I do not have the report of findings from the well
installation but data submitted to GeoTracker indicates that results for soil samples
collected from MW-12 are non-detect for chemicals of concern. I have not received any
data for groundwater collected from MW-12 .
On June 23, 2010, six soil samples were collected from soil boring BST-1. The soil
samples are being used to perform an ozone injection bench-scale pilot test.
No remediation has yet been attempted at this site. Based on the results from the ozone
bench-scale test, ozone injection may be considered an a viable method to remediate this
site.
730 Channel Street
dc .
Monitoring wells MW-4D, MW-5, and MW-6 were installed at this site on May 6 and 7, 2010.
I do not have a report of findings from the well installations but I have been told by the
consulting firm that Mw-5 is very contaminated based on preliminary analytical results.
Additional wells may have to be installed to delineate the groundwater plume.
Also three soil vapor wells were installed on July 9, 2010, and soil gas samples were
collected on July 14, 2010. 1 do not have the results from this investigation.
Vicki McCartney, Senior REHS
San Joaquin County
Environmental Health Department
600 East Main Street
Stockton, California 95202
Phone: (209) 468-9852
Fax: (209) 468-3433
Email : vmccartney@sjcehd.com
-----Original Message-----
From: Kirk Larson [mailto:ktlarson@waterboards.ca.govj
Sent: Friday, July 30, 2010 10 :42 AM
To: Vicki McCartney [EH]
Subject: Five year reviews
Good morning Vicki :
I am conducting reviews for the Cleanup Fund.
