Box 388
Stockton, CA 95201
.Subject: Work Plan Addendum
Production Chemical Manufacturing
1000 East Channel Street, Stockton, California
Dear Ms. Briggs:
Pursuant to our conversation on June 23, 1994, we are providing the following additional
information as an addendum to the "Work Plan for UST Closure In Place" for the
referenced site:
• Two soil samples will be collected from beneath the UST piping. One sample will
be collected near the retaining wall, near the south portion of the site; a second
sample will be collected near the former dispenser. -_-
• Underground Service Alert (UST) was notified on June 30, 1994 (#207259).
• The precise age of the UST could not be determined. Therefore, a minimum of two
soil samples from beneath the tank will be analyzed for total lead in accordance with
approved EPA methods. Samples from beneath the piping will also be analyzed for
total lead.
• The cement to slurry fill the UST and piping for abandonment will follow the mix
design provided to Production Chemical Manufacturing by E. F. Mitchler Co.
(attached).
• A piping tracking and disposition record will be completed and submitted to the
PHS/EHD if the piping is excavated and disposed at a licensed facility.
rcxP.ee..e..✓rb•
Full Spectrum Environmental Services• Hydrogeology
