FEATURING CO-FLEYm
FLEXIBLE, DUAL
CONTAINMENT FUEL
TRANSFER PIPING
Furon, the world's leading manufacturer
of thermoplastic hose and tubing
products, uses the latest thermoplastic
technology to create Co -Flex flexible,
dual -containment fuel pipe. High-
performance polymers give Co -Flex
the ability to stand up to demanding
underground fuel transfer environments
while providing the highest level of fuel
dispensing performance, installation
efficiency, and environmental protection.
Furods fuel pipes are designed, tested
and approved for suction or positive
pressure system applications, using either
the single wall (34F9) or the Co -Flex
(34C9) dual containment pipe.
FuRON FUEL TRANSFER
PIPING OFFERS:
Environmental protection - Furon pipe
is manufactured to the highest quality
standards and performance tested by
UL, ULC and ERA Laboratories.
Advanced polymer design and
material utilization ensure long term
stability in all fuels including alcohol,
alcohol blends, aviation fuels and
MTBE. The coaxial jacket on the
34C9 Co -Flex pipe provides interstitial
space to facilitate leak detection.
Fast, low cost installation - Furon
provides continuous, flexible pipe
lengths and a selection of connector
systems to minimize components,
resulting in easier and quicker
installation. Furon pipe is ideal when
dual containment is a requirement.
• Smooth, seamless bore design - Co -Flex's
enhanced product design provides low
coefficient of friction for continuous,
high flow performance.
Low volumetric expansion - The
combination of tight, bonded
construction and high quality
materials provide for optimal
pump and leak detection system
performance.
Durability - Furori s advanced,
multi -layer design resists kinking
and improves jobsite handling ability.
In addition, the tough primary and
coaxial jacket materials are abrasion
and UV resistant.
Underwriters Labs, UL of Canada listed and ERA Technology certified, 34C9 coaxial and 34F9 primary pipe are manufactured by
Furon Synflex ber CMH1 757,
and certified through sion and listed l
gh ERA Technology Ltd. (UK) under report number 97-0681 for secondary conn the United States under UL file number MH25353, in tainment non-metalunder ULC file lic underground
piping for petroleum products, alcohol and gas -alcohol mixtures.
ERA Certified Institute of Petroleum and Shell International Petroleum Company Ltd. Performance specifications for flexible and semi -
flexible plastic pipework systems.
