Michelle Henry [EH]
From: Debbie Watts [Debbie@servicestationsystems.com]
Sent: Wednesday, November 07, 2007 6:32 PM
To: Michelle Henry [EH]; Marty Weithman
Cc: Debbie Watts; Rod Brownlee -Able; Ryan Riley; Mark Able; aldo.basurto@safeway.com; Stan
Olea
Subject: Safeway - 1804 W. 11th, Tracy
Attachments: 325145_25.jpg
Michelle - Per our earlier conversation, attached is a picture of one of the sumps located at the Safeway at 1804
W. 11th, Tracy. This picture shows the Gray Flex double wall line transitioning to the single wall line towards the
middle of the sump. There is a test port located right in front of the transition from d/w to s/w. The clamps that are
in place against the sump wall are actually there due to a tertiary line that is in place so that the secondary
line can be easily removed for repairs. As such, those clamps should maintained as they were at the time of the
inspection.
Upon returning the clamps to their proper position it was noted that one of the sump wall boots was damaged so
we'll be applying for a permit for the repair. You mentioned that you had noticed the cracked boot at the time of
your inspection.
We have gotten the approval of Safeway to make these repairs but as discussed, they are not a part of the
Secondary line so you'll be modifying your inspection report. I have included Safeway in this e-mail so they are
informed of the direction that we are all taking.
I appreciate you taking the time to discuss this with me, along with the other Tracy location.
Marty - Can you please begin the permit for this sump repair. SSS# 371986. Rod stated that it will either be
Diversified or Blue -line but that wouldn't be determined until they are on site. I believe Ryan has the detail on the
specific sump boot in question.
Thanks
Debbie Watts
Service Station Systems, Inc
408-938-7113
11/14/2007
