O. Box 2009
Stockton, CA 95201
RE: SUBSURFACE ENVIRONMENTAL INVESTIGATION
TEXACO SERVICE STATION
440 CHARTER WAY
STOCKTON, CALIFORNIA
Dear Ms. Hinson:
This letter is in response to our conversation in your office on
April 11, 1989. Enclosed is a Site Plan showing the revised
location of MW-3 and the addition of SB-4 . Also sketched on this
plan is the approximate location of the original tank pit.
Unfortunately, there is almost no information other than the
approximate location of the pit, the fact the tanks were pulled
in 1984 with no samples taken, and that there were about four
tanks. So far, we do not know the size of the tanks and what
they held.
I trust that the addition of a soil boring and the movement of
MW-3 further from the actual tank pit meets with your approval.
This new configuration should more accurately assess the situ-
ation at this site.
Sincerely,
GROUNDWATER TECHNOLOGY, INC.
/LAURA VALLEY
Project Geologist
LV:rs
Enclosure
Officer throughout the U.S., Canada and Overseas
Western offices in: Tempe, A2; Concord, CA; Sacramento, CA; San Diego, CA;
Torrance, CA; Ventura, CA;Englewood, CO;Renton, WA
