In addition to reporting the TPH concentration, the chromatogram pattern will be reported to give you more data regarding the nature of the contamination Please note, however, that the analytical method and the price have not changes The LUFT Manual requires that a compound appearing in the Total Petroleum Hydrocarbon range must be reported,even if it is not gasoline or diesel. In addition to reporting the TPH concentration, the new format will report the chromatogram natter. For example, a carbon chain range of Cg - C12 in a Total Purgeable Petroleum Hydrocarbon (T'PH-GasBTW analysis may indicate the presence of Jet Fuel. A Total Extractable Petroleum Hydrocarbon (TPH-Diesel) analysis may report discrete peaks, indicating the presence of solvents The enclosed chart will allow you to convert hydrocarbon chairs lengths into potential sources of contamination. Please be aware that these ranges are estimated. Your Project Manager can work with you to determine if further examination by Fuei Fingerprint Analysis (EPA 8015 mod.), or GC/MS should be requested to provide additional information Sequoia Analytical has made this improvement based upon the suggestions of our clients.
