C A M B R I A <br /> May 15, 1999 <br /> Mr Ron Rowe <br /> San Joaquin County Public Health Services <br /> P O Box 388 <br /> Stockton, California 95201 <br /> Re Quarterly Monitoring Report - First Quarter 1999 <br /> Former Texaco Service Station <br /> 440 West Charter Way <br /> Stockton, California <br /> Dear Mr Rowe <br /> This Quarterly Monitoring Report describes the recently completed ground water monitoring <br /> and sampling activities at the referenced site (Plates 1 and 2) Cambria Environmental <br /> Technology, Inc (Cambria) prepared this report to meet quarterly reporting requirements <br /> issued by the Central Valley Regional Water Quality Control Board and San Joaquin County <br /> Public Health Services, Environmental Health Division (SJCPHS-EHD) <br /> Quarterly Monitoring & Sampling Summary <br /> Ground water monitoring and sampling for the first quarter of 1999 are summarized below <br /> Blaine Tech Services, Inc (Blaine), of San Jose, California measured ground water <br /> levels and collected samples from Wells MW-1 through MW-7, MW-9 through <br /> MW-I 1, MW-13 through MW-15, and MW-17 on February 17, 1999 Well MW-8 <br /> was inaccessible due to a locked gate and Well MW-16 was dry Samples were <br /> transported to Sequoia Analytical Laboratory Petaluma, California for chemical <br /> analysis <br /> • Cambria evaluated water-level measurement data and prepared a ground water contour <br /> map (Plate 2) Ground water flow direction ranges from south to southeast at an <br /> approximate hydraulic gradient of 0 003 to 0 03 <br /> Oakland CA <br /> Sonoma CA <br /> Portland OR • Ground water samples collected from Wells MW-1, M W-3, MW-9 through M W-1 1, <br /> Seattle WA MW-15, and MW-17 contained total purgeable petroleum hydrocarbons as gasoline <br /> (TPPH) concentrations ranging from ND to 6,100 parts per billion (ppb), benzene <br /> Cambria <br /> Environmental concentrations ranging from ND to 2,700 ppb, and methyl tert-butyl ether (MTBE) <br /> Technology,Inc concentrations ranging from ND to 62 9 ppb Wells MW-2, MW-4 through MW-7, <br /> 0 MW-13, and MW-14 contained no TPPH, benzene or MTBE A chemical <br /> Perkins Street <br /> P 0 Box 259 concentration map is presented on Plate 2 <br /> Sonoma CA 95476 <br /> Tel(7o7)935-4850 <br /> Fax(707)935-6649 <br />
