4pC AM B R I A
be developed due to a bulge in the casing at approximately
3 5 fbg causing the well to be inaccessible Blaine developed
the other three wells using surge block agitation and pump
evacuation Blaine sampled the site wells (excluding well MW-
3-119) on November 7,2005. Blaine's report, documenting the
development and sampling events for all wells, is included in
Appendix D
Wellhead Survey• Since well MW-3-119 will need to be repaired and the casing
elevation may change during these activities, Cambria will
coordinate a survey of the horizontal locations and top of casing
elevations of the newly installed monitoring wells after the
repair of well MW-3-119 is complete
HYDROCARBON DISTRIBUTION IN SOIL
No TPHg or benzene was detected in soil samples collected from well boring MW-10-117 at 10,
• 20, 30, 50, 110, and 120 fbg TPHg was detected in well boring MW-10-117 at 60 and 80 fbg at
concentrations up to 4 5 ppm. Benzene was detected in well boring MW-10-117 at 60, 80, and
90 fbg at concentrations up to 12 ppm
The soil analytical data are summarized in Table 2, and the TPHg and benzene results are
presented on Figure 2 The certified analytical reports for these soil samples are presented in
Appendix C
HYDROCARBON DISTRIBUTION IN GROUNDWATER
Cambria prepared a groundwater contour/chemical concentration map for the shallow
groundwater zone(Figure 3)and groundwater elevation/chemical concentration maps for the two
deeper water-bearing zones (Figures 4 and 5) Groundwater sampling at the subject site was
coordinated with sampling at the Chevron service station(508 West Charter Way)and the former
Arco service station (441 West Charter Way) on November 7, 2005 As of the date of this
report, the Chevron data has not yet been received from their consultant Due to the lack of
applicable groundwater data from the Arco site, and the orientation of the Shell wells,
groundwater contours were not prepared for the two deeper zones Laboratory analytical and
groundwater elevation data from the Arco site is included as Appendix E
1399 6
