Installation of two shallow groundwater monitoring wells for lateral assessment of the shallow contaminant plume. <br /> 2. Installation of one direct push,continuous core,Geoprobe boring for vertical assessment of the contamination <br /> onsite in both soils and groundwater. The boring will be advanced to 80-feet below surface grade(bsg),one grab <br /> groundwater sample will be collected at total depth. <br /> 3. A minimum of three soil samples from each boring will be submitted for laboratory analysis. <br /> 4. All samples will be analyzed for TPHg,BTEX and fuel oxygenates by appropriate EPA approved methods. <br /> COMMENTS AND CONDITIONS• <br /> 1. Per SJC/EHD 01/02/02 directive,deep monitoring wells must be installed. Submit an addendum for the installation <br /> of deep monitoring wells;details of construction pending analytical results from the deep direct push boring. <br /> 2. Feasibility testing for groundwater remediation methods must be addressed. Include this in the addendum. <br /> 3. Soil samples from below 40-feet bsg must be submitted for laboratory analysis. <br /> 4. Sample analysis of both soils and groundwater must include 1,2-dichloroethane and ethylene dibromide. <br /> 5. A report of findings must be submitted to SJC/EHD within 60-days following completion of all fieldwork. <br /> 6. Access agreements from offsite property owners must be submitted before SJC/EHD boring permits can be issued. <br /> 7.
