(Cambria) is submitting this Site
Investigation Work Plan to define the extent of hydrocarbons in soil and groundwater at the site
referenced above. This work is being conducted on behalf Equiva Services LLC. Cambria
originally submitted a work plan in November 24, 1997; however, we did not receive written
authorization to proceed and did not do so. Presented below are the site background including
current site conditions and our proposed scope of work to complete this investigation.
SITE BACKGROUND
February 1989 Soil Borings: In February 1989, Delta Environmental Consultants (Delta)
drilled soil borings SB-1 through SB-8 to assess site conditions prior to underground storage
tank removal and replacement activities (Figure 1).
November 1989 Tank Removal: In November 1989, four underground storage tanks were
excavated and removed. Soil samples were collected from former tank and product line trench
excavations.
Oakland, CA
Sonoma, CA December 1989 Well Installation: Between December 1989 and January 1990, Delta installed
Portland, OR groundwater monitoring-wells MW-1 through MW-7. Underground piping was installed to
Seattle, WA
wells MW-2, MW-3, MW-4, MW-5, and MW-7 for future remediation. Two additional ground
Cambria water monitoring wells (MW-8 and MW-9) were installed in March 1990.
Environmental
Technology, Inc.
1144 65th Street
Suite 8
Oakland, CA 94608
Tel (510) 420-0700
