A reduction in the frequency of sampling of some of the wells at this site may
be warranted at this time in order to reduce overall monitoring costs. However, the
decision to reduce the frequency of sampling particular wells should be based on the
information needed to monitor the site. Those.wells that would provide the most
information should be included in a regular monitoring program.
All wells shall be sampled on a yearly basis. At a minimum, all wells shall be monitored
on a quarterly basis for visual and olfactory evidence of contamination, depth to water
data for information for gradient flow determinations and also to ensure that the well is
still in good repair.
Those wells that are downgradient and/or on the perimeter of the site should be sampled
on a regular basis to verify that no further migration of contaminants is occurring. The
wells that will adequately represent current site conditions should also be sampled on a
regular basis.
i
i
A'Dhision of San Joaquin County Health Care Services
